In a significant diplomatic engagement, Vietnamese leader Trần Cẩm Tú paid an official visit to Singapore where he held discussions with the nation’s President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The talks centered on bolstering the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries, a relationship that has seen marked growth in recent years.

The dialogue underscored the robust expansion of economic, trade, and investment connections, with a particular focus on sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, finance, and high technology. In an effort to stay ahead of global trends, both leaders agreed to deepen collaboration in emerging industries. These include artificial intelligence, digital transformation, semiconductors, data centers, clean energy, green finance, and the development of human resources.

Highlighting the importance of ongoing dialogue, the leaders stressed the need for regular high-level exchanges. Moreover, Vietnam and Singapore committed to enhancing their coordination within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other multilateral platforms.
