In a recent diplomatic exchange, the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, conveyed a written message to Tharman Shanmugaratnam, underscoring the importance of bilateral relations and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation between Qatar and Singapore. The message was personally delivered by Qatar’s Ambassador to Singapore, His Excellency Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki. During a meeting with Jeevan Singh, who serves as the Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia Directorate at Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ambassador presented the communication from the Qatari leader.
