Domestically, the film generated $355 million over its opening weekend, falling just short of the record $357.1 million that Avengers: Endgame holds in North America. On the international front, the superhero epic amassed $572 million across 66 different markets. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film is set four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, following Peter Parker’s journey as he attempts to rebuild his life after the world forgets who he is. Along the way, he faces a new, enigmatic threat with the support of some surprising allies.
